Hiya, I’m Michael, a curly hair specialist in San Diego providing a private, safe environment for all curly folks, with services that are ageless, genderless & non-discriminatory.
As a lifelong learner in love with all curls, coils, bends, wiggles & waves, my education includes Rezo Cut, Vidal Sassoon, Curly Hair Daze & Deva as well as many other curly educators.
I love to cut lived in, easy, simple maintenance styles & like to play with all sorts of clean beauty lines. My priority is to care for you & the health of the planet. As long as it meets the criteria of being All Natural & Eco Friendly, I like to throw it into the mix. My preferred cleansing, conditioning & styling goodies at this time are from Innersense Organic Beauty, Cult & King & Hairstory.
My intention is to provide each of you a unique & personal experience within my private salon space. I do not double book clients (unless requested). Your time is important to me & the vibe can be whatever you want or need that day.

Experienced Curlies & Returning Clients
A Curly Cut with Wash & Style
Are you an experienced curly & an expert at styling your curls? Has it been 6 months or less since your last cut? Then you can book this appointment.
Curly cut, cleanse, condition & styling - 2 hours.
If you are more than 6 months since your last hair cut, you will need to schedule the Full Curly Experience. If you do not have a solid styling routine, do not book this appointment - it does not include a curly tutorial.

A Wash & Style
Got an event, want to spoil yourself & have your hair styled for you?
Cleanse, condition, detox or hydration & styling - 2 hours.
Does not include a cut or tutorial.

Returning Clients Only
A Curly Express Cut
This is a dry curly cut only to maintain an existing shape within 5 months or less of last cut.
Does not include a wash/style - 1 hour.
This is NOT for a change in hairstyle, new bangs, cutting more than 3 inches in length or if it’s been more than 5 months since your last cut, unless pre-approved.

Detox Hair Mask
Clarifying shampoos are played out & can be too harsh. This pre-wash treatment gently removes hard water or product buildup without stripping hair or scalp of natural oils.
Harmonic Oil Treatment
Gently loosens stubborn flakes & soothes a tight, dry scalp with a balanced blend of flower essences & oils.
Scalp Scrub Exfoliation
A pre-cleanse exfoliation treatment to gently remove impurities, hydrate the scalp, soothe inflammation & stimulate blood flow.
Olaplex Bond Perfector Treatment $60
Bonding hair treatment to help seek out & repair broken bonds of compromised hair due to chemical or thermal elements.
